Winning a Smarter Planet Award equals more opportunities to grow your pipeline.

Our Smarter Planet Award category winners will receive a Marketing and/or Public Relations promotional package valued at $5,000.

Winners can mix and match the Marketing and/or Public Relations promotional package to a value of AU$5,000 to be delivered by one of IBM's selected co-marketing agencies.

Pricing and prize fulfilment will be verified with the winners after the Awards have been announced.

Marketing Prizes

Winners will choose one or more of the following Marketing options to the value of $5,000 towards

OPTION 1 – CASE STUDY

  • Interview with Business Partner representative and client
  • Copy write (includes 2 rounds client revisions)
  • Format & design case study (with Business Partner branding)

Deliverable: 2-page (A4) case study in pdf format (print-ready + online quality files)

OPTION 2 – WHITE PAPER

  • Interview with Business Partner subject matter expert
  • Copy write (includes 2 rounds client revisions)
  • Format & design (with Business Partner branding)

Deliverable: (approx) 2,000-word business-case white paper

OPTION 3 – VIDEO CASE STUDY/CHALK & TALK

  • Scope/script/develop case study or chalk & talk content
  • Videographer services including filming + editing
  • Project management + onsite direction

Deliverable: (approx) 3-minute professional quality digital/online asset (various media file formats can be provided)
Optional: Addition of written case study or chalk & talk paper (copy write & formatting/design)

OPTION 4 – NURTURE CONSULTANCY + DEVELOPMENT OF FIRST NURTURE TOUCH

  • Client workshop with senior marketing consultant/s
  • Nurture recommendations proposal document and presentation
  • Development of first nurture touch – asset selection (with client), email development, initial system set-up, email send and reporting

Deliverable: Recommendations for strategy & execution of nurture program + first nurture touch

OPTION 5 – WEBINAR

  • Development of webinar topic + workplan
  • Create invitation and landing page (copy, design & html code)
  • System set-up and testing
  • On-the-day event management, hosting and recording of the webinar
  • Post-event email to registrants
  • Project/campaign management

OPTION 6 – TELEMARKETING + eDM CAMPAIGN

  • Define key messages + offer
  • Telemarketing set-up (written brief + concall)
  • Qualification telemarketing to (approx) 150 companies/contacts
  • Development of Business Partner-branded supporting email communication (eDM) + landing page (copy, design & html code)
  • Regular lead reporting/handover
  • Post-campaign report
  • Project/campaign management

Text 100 logo Public Relations Prizes

Winners will choose one or more of the following Public Relations options to the value of $5,000

OPTION 1 – MEDIA TRAINING
A 4-hour workshop facilitated by a senior Text 100 consultant and an account manager which provides training and hints and tips on effective handling of the media, includes 2 role play sessions as well as theory and handouts. Up to 3 attendees.

OPTION 2 – PRESENTATION SKILLS
A 4-hour workshop facilitated by a senior Text 100 consultant and an account manager which provides training and hints and tips on effective presentation preparation and delivery. Learning the skills to map messages and information that the presenter would like to convey. Up to 3 attendees.

OPTION 3 – SOCIAL MEDIA TRAINING
Educational workshop on peer media, why it matters, what it is and how to engage with it. General rules of engagement, toolset and local landscape overview.

OPTION 4 – PRESS RELEASE WRITING & DISTRIBUTION
Liaise with client and other parties for messaging/data, draft release in English or local language, assemble media list, distribution and follow up.

OPTION 5 – CASE STUDY DEVELOPMENT
Liaise with client on case study opportunity, Interview partner/customer for case study details, draft in English or local language according to client template, up to 3 revisions, secure approval from client/customer.

OPTION 6 – CASE STUDY PLACEMENT
Source media opportunity, pitch written case study and successfully place in 1 media outlet, liaise with client/partner for customer interview if required, media follow up.

OPTION 7 – OPINION PIECE
Liaise with client on article angle, messages and materials, research 1,001-2,000-word article, develop article outline for client approval, draft in English or local language, up to 2 revisions, secure approval from client.

OPTION 8 – SPEAKING OPPORTUNITY
Identify, assess, pitch and secure 1 x speaking opportunity at event, eg trade fair, chamber of commerce session, etc. Liason with organisers, no attendance, no presentation development.

OPTION 9 – EMPLOYEE NEWSLETTER
Scope to be confirmed with client. Benchmark scope and hours only: Agree content and scope of newsletter with client, develop content for up to 6 pages, liaise with design and production house, editing and formatting, up to 2 revisions. No production and design costs. To be estimated separately and locally.
